June 13th 2004 - Mud Volleyball
The excitement is obvious as they look onto the mud pit. Their first taste of the mud and how we made dirt into mud. We attempted mud slip-n-slide...not so successful...but fun to try.

THose who ventured to join us for the junior high portion of the afternoon. The gang-up on Pastor Peters to make sure he is good and muddy! They couldn't leave Deb all nice and clean so its gang up on Deb time!

Yes, there are two girls laying in the mud. Heidi and Becky really wanted some soft skin I guess. Does it feel good girls? Paul, who was kind enough to make our mud pit for us, finally gets dirty. He really thought he was going to get through the whole day without getting muddy. The kids had other plans! The senior group got muddy as well. Even though we don't have the pictures to prove it, I think there was more tackling and wrestling than there was volleyball going on. A note from Deb: Don't ever tell Andy Tenold and Luke Peters that your feet are stuck in the mud. They will tackle you and get you un-stuck...Deb has experience!
