PRAYER PALS

The power of prayer is an awesome thing!  The support of someone who cares is, also!

"Prayer Pals" is a commitment to Salem youth that combines both of these components by partnering up an adult believer with a child in our congregation.  That caring adult provides Christian support and encouragement to his/her "Prayer Pal" through daily prayer support, encouragement calls, compliments, attendance at school and/or church programs, and possibly an occasional card or letter in the mail.  What an amazing thing for kids to know that their Church family is there to encourage them, build them up, and pray for them daily as they continue their walk with Christ.

"Prayer Pals" are currently supporting Salem first through sixth grade  youth.  It is our prayer that as this program grows, every Salem youth will experience the support, love and encouragement that a "Prayer Pal" can offer.  If you are interested in participating in the "Prayer Pal" program, or would like more information, please contact Salem Lutheran Church at 592-1771 or e-mail us.
