SALEM LUTHERAN CHURCH COUNCIL - SPECIAL MEETING
The Salem Church Council met on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at 7:45 p.m. in the Lounge.

The board members present were Tami Alphs, Scott Helgeson, Ron Langfald for Board of Property and Management, Deb Kingland, Jennifer McGrady, Rick Orban, Bob Peterson, Wanda Playter and Gaye Sletten

President Deb Kingland called the meeting to order. A motion was made by Scott Helgeson and seconded by Wanda Playter to accept the confirmation class of 2007 as adult members of Salem. All approved.

Discussion was held on an offer our realtor received to purchase the parsonage. The Council decided the offer was too low. A motion was made by Tami Alphs and seconded by Jennifer McGrady to counter the offer. All approved.

Scott Helgeson reported that it has been a while since we have had bids on the Church's insurance policy. A motion was made by Ron Langfald and seconded by Bob Peterson to authorize Scott to get 3 bids on Salem's insurance policy. All approved.

Motion to adjourn was made by Jennifer McGrady and seconded by Wanda Playter. All approved.
