Board of Youth: Deb Backman reported the board has planned 2 movie nights, Friday night for junior high and Saturday for high school. They have been well attended. A group of high school students have been participating in small group ministry with the confirmation class. The students are leading worship services with the confirmation class.

Old Business: none
New Business: The Parish Council has expressed a preference for honoring the January 2, 2006 date which Salem had indicated as the date for which we will know longer be in the parish. Since Salem's Call Committee's timeline is not anticipating being done with the call process by that time, Salem will need to make arrangements for its staffing needs effective January 2.
There was discussion on the resigning from the One In Christ Parish versus Salem. A motion was made by Keith Helland and seconded by Linda Rasmusson to table this conversation until further information is reviewed with the Call Committee. A motion was made by Jerry Hoffman and seconded by Keith Helland that the One In Christ Parish who hired the youth director, is responsible for that position.
The board discussed the duties and payroll package of the pastors the Call Committee will be hiring. The council will be meeting with David Kingland next week to continue this discussion.
Each board chair is reviewing with their board's the purpose and objectives for moving forward in order to engage more of the congregation. Each board chair should email Deb Kingland their changes.
A motion was made by Bob Peterson and seconded by Doug Bruhns to accept Dan White, David & Alyson Linquist, Ashley, Tiffani & Duane, Darrel & Karen Belville as new members of Salem. Transfers: MaryJo Huntley, Mike Ingebretson, Ramona Reicherts, Rashelle & Shyla, Steve& Sara Hagen, Tanner, Marcus and Hannah and Deb Dakken.
