One In Christ Parish Council: Scott Helgeson reported they have 4-6 youth director names and will be interviewing them soon. Old Business: It was noted that all pastors will be at the Synod Assembly this weekend at Wartburg College in Waverly. The executive board is working on the updating of the membership list. Margaret Okland will be in charge of the supper being served to the Celebration Iowa Singers and Jazz Band. She will be looking for volunteers for food and serving.

New Business: A task force of parents from the parish has been working on bringing recommendations to the One In Christ Council on the confirmation program. Each church will be deciding when their own church will have confirmation. It was recommended that the 9th grade year of instruction be offered around the theme of discipleship and that 9th graders be linked to adult mentors for that year.
Pastor Dykstra reported on the two day ALPHA Program he and Pastor Peters attended in Duluth. It involves classes on how to reach people who do not attend a church. There will be another class July 21-22 in Lakeville and the goal is to have members of the churches attend it. A motion was made by Margaret Okland and seconded by Keith Helland to use $500 of the outreach money to cover the tuition of the class.
Motion was made by Bruce Adams and seconded by Doug Bruhns to accept Marilyn Storby, Theresa & Michael as new members and Ryan Charlson has requested a transfer to Trinity Lutheran Church in Mason City.
